Our Vision

It is our vision to create a homeschool community center for all homeschoolers. We serve everyone from the unschoolers to those who choose to follow a more rigorous schedule. We offer core classes, extra curricular activities (farming, gardening, animals, etc), and teach many life skills along with academics. Our community is a place where homeschool parents have support whenever they need it, whether that be to just let the kids play while they chat with other parents, or to browse the quiet library that will be available on local campuses. Our center will be a harmony of all aspects of learning instead of having to go to various places and multiple co-ops. Perhaps if we become large enough, we could add in sports teams as well. This would all be provided for one single yearly membership fee. Once the fee is paid, families have access to as little or as much as they want.

We believe hands-on learning and immersing in subject matter are vital. Field trips will be planned and coordinated for those who are local to Maine. To those who are not local, virtual field trips will be here as well! Special events would take place, some virtually, and some in person. Ideas and visions of adding sports teams are also in the works. This is all provided for one single yearly membership fee. Once the fee is paid, families have access to unlimited possibilities and a strong, supportive community.

Due to the craziness of COVID-19, we have decided that it would be best to start virtually, and then grow organically in our local areas. Because, in reality, we all need to stick together, and what better way to do that? Let’s all build an amazing community together!
