IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to COVID-19 and certain state laws and risks to those with lower immune systems, in-person classes will not be held until further notice. However, nature walks, some field trips, and hikes will still be organized as long as we can be outside and socially distanced. There will be sign-ups for in-person events so we can stay below the mandatory number requirements.

Our mission is to help EVERY child learn whatever they want and in a way that interests them. We strive to teach not only the core subjects, but nature studies and life skills as well. Every child deserves a head start in every aspect and we strive to bring them up together in harmony. Parents also need support. We want to provide everything you need to make your child successful.

WELCOME to Harmony Homeschool Community! We are so happy to have you here. Our community strives to be tight-knit and nurturing. We believe that children should be taught how to live life to the fullest and that means nurturing and growing what they love.

The main purpose of education isn’t just to receive a certification that leads to a career, but to become a well-rounded person in so many aspects of life. – Edmond Mbiaka

“The aim of education should be to teach us rather how to think, than what to think – rather to improve our minds, so as to enable us to think for ourselves, than to load the memory with the thoughts of other men.”
― James Beattie

“Once upon a time, all children were homeschooled. They were not sent away from home each day to a place just for children but lived, learned, worked, and played in the real world, alongside adults and other children of all ages.”
― Rachel Gathercole, The Well-Adjusted Child: The Social Benefits of Homeschooling

“Never be within doors when you can rightly be without.”
― Charlotte Mason, Charlotte Mason’s Original Home Schooling Series
